Since 1996, today's ASSMANN IT-Solutions AG has been active as the Computing division within Simpex Electronic AG in the distribution of products for the IT industry. Later as Simpex IT-Solutions within the Simpex Group as an independent company. From the very first day, great importance was attached to a clear sales strategy with sales via IT retailers, system houses, electrical retailers and accessories via e-tail and retail channels.
Around 220 employees worldwide ensure the success of the activities in the divisions: Network technology, network and installation cables, network and server cabinets, computer cables, computer components and video solutions.

A major strategic goal of the ASSMANN Group is to develop solutions for a connected life and to inspire with innovative products.

ASSMANN Electronic GmbH, with its headquarters in Lüdenscheid, North Rhine-Westphalia, was founded in 1969 and is now – as part of ASSMANN Holding GmbH – an internationally operating solution provider for high-quality server, network and peripheral infrastructure products. Ten additional subsidiaries are brought together under the holding company with locations in Austria, Switzerland, France, Spain, Croatia, Poland, Turkey, China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. The varied product portfolio of the established in-house brand DIGITUS is sold worldwide through IT distributors, system integrators, electronics wholesalers, the e-commerce channel and corporate resellers.

Whether the public sector, industrial companies, large corporations or single offices – with the product range from DIGITUS, ASSMANN offers structured building cabling to its customers and enables the smart networking of modern working environments. Innovative e-mobility products for establishing a charging infrastructure round off the portfolio.

The ASSMANN holding company is completed by its top management, consisting of Dirk Kunz as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Mirko Aubel as Managing Director Sales.
